Wow! Who would've guessed that it's been an entire year since I began blogging. I had hoped to come up with some spectacular post for this monumental occasion, but I'm really stumped. It's like my brain has totally dried up.
I did have a post just a bit ago where I offered myself up to any questions that anyone might have, but I only got two. So I guess I'll start with those first.
This came from, a blogger I've seen over at Ellie's, Old Knudsen: Who would win in a fight Al Gore or Michael Moore?
My answer: Is this a trick question? I'll tell you what though. I was just looking over at Old Knudsen's blog and it's very fascinating. I want to make a comment on a couple of his posts, but I'll have to do it later.
The second question came from Akelamalu: why did you start your blog(s)?
My answer: This all started when Marmitetoasty invited me into her blog world. We had 'known' each other for a couple of years or so when we used to frequent what she calls 'the gloomies'. The gloomies was all well and good until people started showing their stupidity. Marmy was smarter and got away from there sooner than I did. I never knew what she was up to until she left me a message with the link to her 'blob'. At first, I just signed up to leave a comment on her blog. I kept coming back to read her wonderful stories, then one day, I decided that I would try to start a blog myself. Of course I don't have the many wonderful tales that she has, but it's been a good outlet and better alternative to the gloomies. I started to visit the links on her blog, then some of the links on those blogs and found some wonderful friends through this experience. It was a far cry from everyone being in your business, not being supportive and attacking every little thing you say. Everyone in the blogger world has been nothing BUT supportive and friendly. I know that if I was to meet everyone of the blogger friends today that I would love them all. I can tell.
As for my other blogs, I didn't keep up as much with them in the beginning and only now am starting to post more on them. Life With Hashi is just a place where I could vent my frustrations and such dealing with thyroid disease. The Poetry, Art, and Photography of Her Royalness is a place for just that. Whether it's my own or someone else's. I love art in every form. I just put a painting Miss La-Di-Da-Di did on there and will add more of her artwork soon. Mini-Me asked me why I didn't put any of hers on there. I'm planning to, but I only have maybe two items that she brought home from school. Her sister brought more home. LOL
I will be doing another post later on today to celebrate one year. Stay tuned....
