Stinky has been on vacation this week, and tomorrow is his last day. We were supposed to wait until the girls got home in August to head here: http://beachboardwalk.com/ down in Santa Cruz. It's basically an amusement park at the beach. Oh,Yippee! *hint of sarcasm* That is where we are heading in the morning.
I am NOT a big fan of amusement parks and definitely not of crowds. This is the last big hurrah! before the kids go back to school on August 13th, and I think I can tolerate this kind of thing one more time. After all, my kids will enjoy it, and that's what matters. Showboat was just there Wednesday when his auntie took him, and he's been a few times before. My girls have never been, so it will be a new experience for them. They love the beach, swimming, and amusement parks. Hope it's not ridiculously hot. I tend to swell up and get sick after being in extreme heat for too long.
Well, I'd better head to bed. Have to be up early to get ready to be out of here by 9:30 in the morning. I'll let you all know how I fare. LOL

Amusement park sounds like a great laugh ... all those rollercoasters zooming about pushing our faces in ever more funny ways hahaha

I know exactly what you mean. I always try to see the bright side, but in reality those places are usually torture (unless you go completely out of season and in the rain, when it's empty).

lol - we feel the same. Hubz *hates* Disneyland coz of the crowds, so we always try to go during the slow season.
