Rocking the 'Do

When I was younger I had light shade of brown hair. As I got older it got darker and was a deep auburn color. In fact, it got so dark that people would always tell me that I had black hair when commenting/complimenting on it. I didn't have black hair nor did i WANT black hair so that would always have me arguing with them then showing them my hair in the sunlight. That in turn would cause them to say, "Oh yeah...your hair IS brown." Like no shit sherlock, right?

Over the years, I've done a few chemical processes to my hair: the perms and the colorings. When I would color my hair, I'd always go a shade or two lighter. I even put blonde/copper highlights in.

I hadn't had my hair colored in about a year or so and the greys (yes, i know i spelled it that way)were actually showing on top and not just under where they had been for a few years. I knew that I wanted to get my hair done before Stinky's work party (which was a cpl of wks ago & I'll have to do a post on). So, I decided to take the plunge and go dark. To the place I never wanted to go. I had my hair dyed black.

But...if you know me, I can't go into a complete change without adding a little more to it. I added magenta peekaboo highlights. Not too many...just a couple. Who knew I could rock this hair? Oh wait...I did. :) lol So tell me what you all think.
