FF-41

As she contracted her muscles, she let out a groan. It was hurting so bad, but she knew it was also going to be so good. She squeezed and tightened her gluts. Then she relaxed. It happened over and over. When she finished she felt good. The trainer Maya is a My Fitness Coach Nazi.

I just realized I numbered my Flash Fiction wrong. Last week was #40 and this one is #41.

For those of you who have been with me for awhile, you know that I suffer from thyroid disease and have a bit of a weight issue from it. I decided to get real serious about it this year, especially after I was able to lose thirteen pounds in less than a year. That may not seem like a lot, but it is for me. I have to work twice as hard as everyone else who is normal to see any kind of results. I had a treadmill and a weight bench, but repetition causes one of two things: boredom, or your body becomes so adjusted to the same routine that there is no more progress. The rest of your body is saying, "Hey, what about us?"

Anyways, you all know that Stinky bought me a Wii for Christmas, and I got a Wii Fit in January. I ended up buying My Fitness Coach for Wii, because I had heard so many good things about it. I also needed to change up my routine. I knew the Wii Fit was not going to be enough for me to lose weight. The trainer's name is Maya, and she totally kicked my ass today! lol

I was only doing 15 minute workouts, and I decided to up it to 30 minutes for the 1st time today. The crunches were a killer, and there were a lot of them! I also do a 3 mile walking DVD to alternate. I keep my progress on Diary of a Thick Chick, and I also co-run a weight loss support blog One Weigh at a Time. If you guys are trying to lose weight, you need support, and want to read interesting weight/health/fitness articles, come check us out. If you decided to join us, welcome and glad you did. :)

Flash Fiction is brought to you by the G-Man. If you feel like playing along, simply create a story using exactly 55 words, then pop over his place, and let him know you've posted. Easy Peasy, right?? :)

First off well done for losing 13lbs! I know how hard it is even without the problems you have honey. I have lost 14lbs since January and it wasn't easy!

I've been trying to persuade MWM to buy a Wii as I thought the Wii fit would be good exercise, I do Pilates which really tones everything up but it's not cardio.

Keep going m'dear. Oh and great 55!

Rock on girl! I know it's tough and it sucks and it doesn't seem like it's worth all that sometimes, but you just keep on keepin' on.

I love my Wii fit, but it is basically just a toy to me, I was thinking about getting the Biggest Loser disk, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. It sounds like maybe I should think about getting the fitness coach instead.

Oh, and G-man's comment almost made me spit my apple juice all over my monitor.
