FF-55 (Yeah,this one is number 55 hehe)

She can feel the tightening of her chest, the robbing of oxygen from her lungs as she struggles to breathe. Swallowing her food felt like a million tiny razors sliding down her throat. She wants something to numb it, but she knows no matter what she does nothing will. The summer cold has taken hold.

This is my 55th Flash Fiction 55. W00T! To be honest, I'm lucky I came up with something this week. I have been sick for the last four days and felt like shit. I'm sure you can figure that out though by reading my 55, eh? :) I need to post about the family vacation, but I still haven't finished the one Stinky and I took to Seattle. I'm just lacking energy a lot since I got back from Missouri. Let's hope I'm over this thing before my classes start next week. I gotta be able to stay awake and be focused.

Flash Fiction has been brought to you by the G-Man. If you feel like playing along, simply write a story using exactly 55 words, then pop over to his place, and let him know you've posted. Easy Peasy, right?
