I am a part-time student currently studying Criminal Justice and a full-time stay-at-home mom to three kids, and a stepmom to one, who range from adult to teens. We have been a blended family since 2004.
Brenden's the oldest: He's very intelligent, he writes stories, poems, music, and is self-taught in guitar, drums, banjo, and keyboard. He's an avid reader, and says that he can always part with his CDs and DVDs, but never his books. Showboat is my stepson. He's the athlete and plays football and baseball. He's really good at a lot of sports and people let him know it. I think he still has a lot to learn about the real world. Mini-Me is super smart, and she's usually up to trying anything at least once. Even though it's been a little hard for her, she's slowly navigating her way through the teen years. It will be exciting to see how she does when she enters high school next year. Miss La-Di-Da-Di is easy-going and has the 'la-di-da' approach to live, but she can also give attitude. She's also the creative one, often writing stories and songs of her own. Our family loves going on family vacations and road-trips. We don't go as often as we'd like because of my husband's job, but when we do, it's always an adventure.
Ciara's Ramblings and Whatnot started off as a place to jot my thoughts down. I sometimes write about random thoughts, poetry, recipes, a bit about my family, and anything else in between. I'm slowly learning more and more about blogging everyday. Ciara's Ramblings and Whatnot is a place where I hope to grow with my writing, blogging experiences, and photography.
